Slaight Music and Roundtable Capital Launch the Xtreme Squash Doubles League
Ontario has been a breeding ground for world class doubles squash players and title sponsors Slaight Music and Roundtable Capital aim to take the competition level up a notch with the inauguration of the Xtreme Squash Doubles League (XSDL). Competing for $25,000.00 in championship prize money, the top 45 doubles players in Ontario will be drafted to one of five founding franchises: The B&R Beavers, The Cambridge Cougars, The Cricket Club Grasshoppers, The Toronto Lawn Lizards and the TRC Tasmanian Devils.
XSDL kicks off with a live-streamed Draft Night on September 18th, with introductory matches beginning at 5:30 p.m. and draft picks starting at 7! Big names up for bid are professionals Robin Clarke (world #8), Scott Arnold (world #9), Will Mariani (world #11), legends of the game Gary Waite, Scott Stoneburgh, Mike Pirnak, World Champion Stephanie Hewitt, national team members Sam Cornett and Nikki Todd, and so many more!
