White Oaks announces Coaches Workshop December 12 and 13 featuring Mike Way and David Palmer

Matt Easingwood is pleased to announce a White Oaks coaches workshop featuring Mike Way and David Palmer to be held immediately after the 2017 Canadian Junior Open squash Championships. It will be a unique opportunity for anyone interested in squash to educate themselves on world-class training methods.

This coach’s workshop will feature five sessions designed to bring coaches together to gain exposure to two of North America’s most prominent profession squash coaches. There will be two sessions Tuesday after the Canadian Junior Open and three sessions Wednesday morning, afternoon and evening. This workshop will be symposium style in which Dave and Mike will lead and present and others will be encouraged to follow on each topic.

Mike Way is the current head coach of Harvard men’s and Women’s squash. He was the personal coach of many National Junior and Senior Champions as well as the personal coach of former world number 1 Jonathan Power as well as Graham Ryding and Shahier Razik.

David Palmer is currently head coach at Cornell University. David won the World Open in 2002 and 2006 as well as the British Open in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008. He has been ranked number one is the world in 2001 and 2006.

The cost of the White Oaks coaches’ workshop is $200 +GST and includes a Wednesday lunch buffet. Registrations are limited and can be done through the White Oaks club desk at 905-688-2032 ext 5210.
