2017 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Saturday, June 3, 2017, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Royal Woodbine Golf Club, Etobicoke

Squash is experiencing a great deal of momentum in Ontario right now and we saw participation increase in all demographics across the province.  One of our key mandates for 2017-18 will be putting in place more effective infrastructure regionally to better service our membership and implement programming that helps to grow and develop squash in all corners of Ontario.

The workshop component will be held at 9:00 am, before the official AGM which will commence at 10:30 am.  We encourage club owners and professionals that are interested in the regional programming that Squash Ontario will be implementing in the future to take part in both segments of the AGM while those that want to attend strictly the governance portion of the event can arrive for the 10:30am AGM.

In addition, we will also be offering a remote access option for a live webinar of the entire AGM and regional development workshop, including chat features for providing in-meeting feedback.

The schedule for the Squash Ontario AGM will be as follows:

8:30am - Registration and Continental Breakfast

9:00am - Welcome and Regional Programming Overview (Jamie Nicholls).

Key speaking points include regional coordinator and coach positions, high school squash, executive structures for implementing programming and accessing funding, regional coordination of leagues, events, and tournaments.

9:15am -   Guest Speakers on Existing Regional Structures and their benefits

9:30am -    Breakout sessions by Region led by SO staff and board members
