March Break Half Day Junior Squash Camps

Monday-Friday

9am-12pm (3 hours + time to solo in the morning)

Tara Mullins will be at the club as of 8:30 am each morning for any player wishing to come early and solo practice any squash shots that players are learning.

Where: GoodLife McCaul (21 McCaul St. M5T 1V7, closest major intersection Queen and University)

Cost: $220+HST for the week / $50+HST per half day

Players will need to bring a note book to log strategies, ideas, and feedback.

On Court Sessions

  • Instruction technique, shot selection, tactics
  • Solo Drills
  • Partner Drills 2 people, 3 people, condition
  • Games and match play
  • Match charting
  • Training on court agility, footwork, speed, and recovery
  • Team Tournament

 

Off Court Sessions

  • Training Off Court flexibility, strength, match prep, mental prep, nutrition
  • Tactical plays and game strategies for opponent*
  • Exhibition match – Ontario A players level or above!

 

Camp Day Example 1

8:30am-9:00am solo practice time

9:00am-9:10am warm up

9:10am-10:00am Instruction, Partner Drills

10:00am-10:40am Games and Match play

10:40am- 10:55am Break

10:55am - 11:20am Training On Court

11:20am-11:40am Tactical Plays and games strategies

11:40am-12:00pm Stretching

 

Camp Day Example 2

8:30am-9:00am solo practice time

9:00am-9:10am warm up

9:10am-9:30am  Training On Court

9:30-10:15am Instruction, Partner Drills

10:15am-11:00am Games and Match charting*

11:00am-11:10am break

11:10am-11:40am Training off court stretching + nutrition chat

11:40am-12:00pm Top A Players Exhibition Match
