After last season’s record-breaking participation with 15 teams over the two divisions, the 2024 Portage M&A Advisory Ontario Regional Masters Team Championships is looking to be our largest to date! No stranger to hosting some of Ontario's top events, the Club at White Oaks and tournament chair Matt Easingwood always make sure teams have a great time, on and off the court. With the unique experience of competing in a fun team environment, this tournament is often one players circle on their calendar.
With thanks to the tournament's generous sponsors, players will be treated to some amazing food, prizes and a Saturday night social complete with live entertainment. Team captains put in lots of work leading up to the event recruiting players and filling their region's rosters. This year, both the A and the B/C divisions will be comprised of 7 players over the age of 30+.
In the A division, reigning champions Team Southwestern, led by Gary Delavigne, will be looking to defend their title. Team Ottawa won last year’s B/C division and with new teams and regions added to this year’s event, the competition will be stronger than ever.
Interested players must email captains in the region where they live before registering to ensure there is an open spot on the team. Captains will format the teams for both A and B/C levels based on order of strength when registration closes. The region that you play for is based off of your home address, not your home club.
