The Jim Mason High School Teams Tournament - April 11 and 12 in Toronto

Teachers ... it’s time to get pumped!

The second OFSAA Invitational Jim Mason Cup high school team tournament, hosted by Josh Suteir and Lawrence Park CI of the TDSSAA, is just around the corner.

There’s still time to prep a team for the 2024 edition, Thursday April 11 and Friday April 12 at Mayfair Lakeshore Racquet Club in Toronto. All the details, including registration info, can be found here: Jim Mason Cup

27 teams and 154 students, many brand new to the sport, did it up right at last year’s event. Be sure to get in on the action this time around!

A reminder that Squash Ontario is offering 4 bursaries of $250 to schools competing for the first time.

No squash experience? No problem.

The tournament is for Ontario high school players of ALL levels. Schools participate as a team in 3 competitive co-ed divisions.

  • Beginner – Teams of 5, any gender combination, with no Ontario ranked players

  • Division 2 – Teams of 7, minimum 2 girls, no more than 2 Ontario ranked players

  • Division 1 – Teams of 7, minimum 2 girls, any number of Ontario ranked players.

Squash is a perfect addition to a high school racquets program and is a great option for those students who may feel they don’t quite fit in with the more traditional team sports.
