Vinit Kudva, Past President

Vinit is a software developer by profession who is very passionate about squash. He started his squash journey at the age of 8 with his dad. Through high school he played in various community and city leagues at mostly a recreational level. His competitive career started when he joined the University of Waterloo Varsity Squash Team in his first year. Since then, he has been heavily involved with University squash as a student-athlete, followed by being an assistant coach and now a head coach. He coached at University of Waterloo for a number of years, following which he moved to Ottawa and continued his coaching career at University of Ottawa. He aims to give students a strong technical base to be able to continue playing squash well past their varsity years. 

Simon Chun, Vice President, Finance

2026-2028 Term

Simon Chun is President and Portfolio Manager of YouFirst Financial Inc., a boutique private wealth management firm based in Toronto offering bespoke financial services to business owners, professionals, and high net worth families in Canada.  Simon is a dedicated squash enthusiast, transitioning from over 15 years of recreational play to competing in singles tournaments with Squash Ontario.  Simon's passion for the game extends beyond the court through sponsorship via his firm as well as being proud to serve the members of the squash community on the board of directors as VP Finance with Squash Ontario.

Heather Dart, Vice President

2025-2027 Term

Heather was introduced to squash during a course at University many years ago.  She returned to the squash community about 7 years ago and has really enjoyed her experience playing in various leagues and tournaments across the region and nationally.  She’s looking forward to serving on the board for her second term.

Naveed Irshad, Vice President

2025-2027 Term

Naveed is President & CEO of Manulife Canada. He has worked in Canada, US and Asia. He is a qualified Actuary with a strong technical, financial background. Naveed is an avid squash player who has played regularly in Montreal, Toronto, Boston and Singapore.

Chris Willard

2025-2027 Term

Chris brings extensive leadership experience in finance, philanthropy, and community development to Squash Ontario. With a career including roles in the financial sector and in the non-profit sector, including as Executive Director of the Guelph Community Foundation, Chris has a strong track record of strategic growth, fundraising success, and community engagement. A passionate advocate for sport as a tool for inclusion and youth development, Chris is proud to support Squash Ontario’s mission to grow the game and strengthen communities across the province. A member at the Kitchener-Waterloo Racquet Club actively playing on their Division 3 Team, on the club ladder, and he actively works with their “drills group”. He also plays hardball and doubles. 

Lisa Bogdan, Vice President

2026-2028 Term

Lisa recently retired from a 36-year career in Corporate Actuarial at Canada Life in London, Ontario. A squash player for more than 30 years, Lisa continues to compete at the provincial and national levels and is a certified provincial coach. She is a strong advocate for women in sport and co-runs a Tuesday Night House League that provides an inclusive and welcoming environment with high female participation.

Paul Hunter, Vice President

2026-2028 Term

Paul is the Chief Executive Officer of Wheelchair Rugby Canada, where he leads the national organization responsible for the development and growth of wheelchair rugby across Canada. With extensive experience in sport leadership, governance, and development at the community, provincial, and national levels, Paul has contributed to initiatives including the Rowan’s Law Advisory Committee to the Government of Ontario. He is passionate about good governance, athlete-centred development, volunteerism, and building strong, sustainable and inclusive sport organizations.

Roberto Godoy, Vice President

2026-2028 Term

Roberto is a multi-sector business founder, based in the Niagara Region. With Mexican roots and a strong commitment to public service, he is passionate about using sport to create opportunity, connection, and leadership for youth, families, newcomers, and local communities. An active squash enthusiast and community organizer, Roberto has supported local sports, social events, and athlete development. He believes squash plays an important role in building confidence, discipline, inclusion, and healthy competition. Roberto is committed to helping grow the game across Ontario by strengthening grassroots participation, supporting junior development, encouraging community partnerships, and making squash more visible and accessible to the next generation of players.
