Jim mason cup
The Jim Mason Cup is a unique and exciting high school squash tournament that brings together student-athletes from across Ontario. Each year, schools send teams to represent their community, traveling together to compete in a fun, inclusive, and team-focused environment.
With three divisions—Division 1, Division 2, and Emerging—the Jim Mason Cup is designed for players of all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or picking up a racquet for the first time, there’s a place for you and your school team to shine. The format ensures that everyone gets meaningful matches, while the team structure encourages school spirit, camaraderie, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines.
This event is named in honour of Jim Mason, a passionate leader in Ontario’s squash community who believed deeply in the power of sport to bring people together. His vision for making squash accessible to youth at every level lives on through this competition, where students get to experience the thrill of representing their school, supporting their teammates, and meeting peers from across the province.
For many students, the Jim Mason Cup is a highlight of the school year—a chance to travel with friends, compete in a supportive atmosphere, and take part in the energy and excitement of an OFSAA sanctioned squash event. It’s more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of school pride, teamwork, and the joy of the game.
