Nicole Pirko, Canada Winter Games Coach
Nicole Pirko is the coach of Team Ontario at the 2027 Canada Winter Games as well as the Head Squash Professional at the Pickering Squash Club. She has coached two previous Canada Winter games teams, coached the Canadian Junior Team at the Pan American Championships in Argentina, as well as having coached team Canada at the Senior Pan American Championships in Guatemala. Nicole is dedicated to developing high-performance athletes while inspiring a lifelong passion for squash across the province.
Cory McCartney, Canada Winter Games Coach
Since discovering his love for squash in university, Cory has spent the past 14 years playing and coaching squash at an elite level. During a decade spent on the PSA world tour, he reached a career high ranking of 140 in the world. As a coach he has been training high-performance athletes to compete on national and international stages for over ten years. His degree in neuroscience and psychology from the University of Toronto has equipped him to support his young athletes on off the court. Currently Cory is the head squash professional at Mayfair Parkway in Toronto.
