Host a Tournament

Squash Ontario operates three tournament categories available to Member Clubs in good standing to host: Provincial Championships, Junior Tournaments, and Community Tournaments. Every event will use the Club Locker software where players have access to online results, ratings, rankings, and tournament organizers have access to live scoring.

HOST A Provincial Championship or a junior tournament

The following list of events are open for bid for Squash Ontario Member Clubs for the 2026-2027 season. Bidding will close on Sunday, April 12 2026. Clubs will be notified about successful bids the week of April 13th.

Provincial Championships:

  • Ontario Mixed Doubles Championships (Dates TBD)

  • Ontario Regional Masters Team Championships (February 26-28, 2027) *Date Corrected

  • Ontario Regional Junior Team Championships (March 5-7, 2027)

Junior Silver Tournaments:

  • Junior Silver Summer Tournament (any date)

  • Junior Silver #3 (November 21-22, 2026)

  • Junior Silver #4 (January 9-10, 2027)

  • Junior Silver #5 (February 6-7, 2027)

Junior Grand Prix Tournaments:

  • Summer 2026 Dates (any date)

  • All Boys Grand Prix #3 (October 3, 2026)

  • Grand Prix #7 (January 16, 2027)

  • Grand Prix #8 (February 20, 2027)

  • Grand Prix #9 (April 17, 2027)


HOST A COMMUNITY TOURNAMENT

This application form is for any Squash Ontario Member Club who would like to run a sanctioned community tournament through Squash Ontario. There are two options to choose from; Full Sanction or Marketing Only package. Squash Ontario will protect your date to ensure no conflicting event is held within 100 km. Dates are secured on a first come, first serve basis. Please read the full Club Sanction Package at the link below before filling out the form.

Events happening September and onwards will have registration openining dates of June 1st.


HOST A JUNIOR Bronze Tournament

Junior Bronze events are fun, typically half day events with modified rules and games for novice players aged 7-15. Bronzes are run by the club and players are often placed into groups based on their skill level, not age or gender. There is no effect on rankings as there are no formal matches played.

All Bronze events listed on the Squash Ontario require a sanction fee of $50.00. This means the event can be promoted through Squash Ontario channels, are covered by insurance, and participation is tracked by Squash Ontario.

Bronze event hosts have the option to collect registrations on their own or ask Squash Ontario to set up a Club Locker registration page. If done through Club Locker, Squash Ontario will pay the event host the entry fees of the participants after the event, less the sanctioned fee of $50.00 plus a 10% admin fee which which covers Stripe and Club Locker processing fees.

Once the form is received, Squash Ontario will reach to collect the sanction fee. Dates are secured on a first come, first serve basis.
