Financial Assistance for Competitions

Launching for the first time in 2023-24, and supported by Mortgage Company of Canada Inc., Squash Ontario will coordinate a financial assistance program for junior players to compete in the Grand Prix, Silver and Gold circuit events, key competition components of the junior development pathway.

After careful consideration, entry fees have increased for some of Squash Ontario’s events to support operating expenses for both the host club and Squash Ontario, as well as provide support for players requiring financial assistance to compete.  We recognize that cost increases in junior sports programming may prevent participation for some families, while at the same time need to consider investing in the sport to ensure its long-term success. For that reason, the entry fee increase will be accompanied by this financial assistance program.

Families are welcome to complete the following form if the entry fees are preventing them from participating in junior events.

Program Details:

-        The Financial Assistance for Competition Form must be submitted no later than December 15, 2023, for Winter events.
