A very exciting evening is ahead of us as four special contributors to the Ontario squash community will be inducted into the Ontario Squash Hall of Fame as the Class of 2022: Murray Christison, Leslie Freeman, Penny Glover and Patrick Richardson. The induction ceremony will take place at the Granite Club in Toronto on the evening Thursday, April 28th, with a sold out crowd.

The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Governors have put together a beautiful evening of events and speeches beginning around 7:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to follow along and support the four inductees are welcome to watch the live stream of the event curtesy of Josh Ginou at the button below.

Canadian Open 2021-2022 - Watch Live on CBC!

The 2021-22 Oxford Properties Canadian Open Presented by AirSprint Private Aviation is taking place in Calgary this week. The tournament will be streaming live on CBC (link above), so tune in and support our players as they take on some tough opponents from across the globe. Good luck to the Ontarians Liam Marrison, Nick Sachvie, Nikki Todd and Hollie Naughton as they have all progressed to the next round of the championship.

Northern Secondary School Grabs Gold at The 2022 Jim Mason High School Championship

75 athletes, 12 coaches, 10 courts, 180 matches - PLUS - countless smiles, victory salutes, cheers and supporters. The numbers don’t lie. High School squash IS BACK! After two years in limbo, 14 teams from schools around the province brought their electric energy to the courts at Toronto’s Mayfair Lakeshore last Friday to battle it out for the coveted Jim Mason Cup High School Team title.

Women's Doubles Make a Triumphant Return at the 2022 Hennessy & Hinchcliffe Ontario Women's Veterans Doubles Championships

The Cricket Club hosted the Ontario Women’s Veteran Doubles Championship last weekend after a nasty Covid two-year hiatus. This event would not have been possible with out the support of our title sponsor Hennessy & Hinchcliffe (Mark Hinchcliff), who also ensured that the ladies were treated to an awesome complimentary Friday social. A big shout out to our tournament chair Lolly Gillen for all her hard work, she made sure this event would be a super hit.

260 Athletes Vying for Podium this Provincial Championships Weekend

A number of factors have led to our April 1st jam packed weekend with three provincial championship events taking place, making it the pinnacle of Squash Ontario’s 2021-2022 season. 260 athletes will lace up across Ontario vying for a podium finish in either the Assante Wealth Management Ontario Junior Open, Weir Team Ontario Men’s Veteran Doubles, or the Hennessy & Hinchcliffe Ontario Women’s Doubles.
