Over 315 athletes from across the world stormed the courts of The Club at White Oaks for 4 days of competition at the 2022 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners. In addition to the under 13, 15, 17, and 19 divisions, there were men's and women's NextGen PSA satellite events played on Squash Canada's Power Glass show court.

As a not-for-profit organization, much of the work done by Squash Ontario to grow the sport of squash in the province would not be attainable without the support of donors at all levels and of any amounts. Our final provincial championship of the year, the 2022 Mortgage Company of Canada Inc. Junior Closed Championships, took place this past weekend at Mayfair Lakeshore. After a final day of extremely competitive matches, our top junior athletes battled their way to the podium and eight new champions were crowned.

With our third consecutive weekend of provincial championships coming up, it is time to highlight winners from this past weekend’s 2022 Window Film Systems Ontario Doubles Championships at Mayfair Parkway, Markham. It was an amazing weekend filled with competitive matches, team outfits and rowdy crowds!

quash Ontario has its newest cohort of provincial champions with the 2022 Ontario Closed Championships coming to completion this past weekend at Mayfair Parkway, Markham.

The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Governors is seeking applications from individuals who may be interested in serving on the Board. The successful candidates will bring with them a high level of expertise in and knowledge of the game of squash and at the same time, have a commitment to honouring and preserving the history of squash in Ontario.

Over 90 of Ontario top players will be competing in the Ontario Closed Championships, which will be held this weekend November 11-13 at Mayfair Parkway, Markham. Expect to view some world class squash action in Women’s & Men’s Open Divisions, as well as the A, B, C & D divisions. Players will be vying for a Provincial title and prize money in the Open divisions.

The University Gates Masters Championships was held this past weekend from October 21st to 23rd at the newly renovated Greystone Racquet Club in Waterloo. With a great turn out the championship had players across all divisions for Men’s & Women’s.
