The Weir Team's Ontario Men's Veterans Doubles Championships, Presented by Slaight Music

Yet another successful doubles event took place this past weekend (with only a few hamstring and calf sprains) with the Weir Team’s 2020 Ontario Men’s Veterans Doubles Championships Presented by Slaight Music, thanks to host club Toronto Racquet Club, Tournament Chair Blair Finlayson and his lineup of supporters - Cam Weir, Gary Slaight, Jon LeHeup, Paul Smith, Mike Hobart, Peter Sidqwick, and the Ontario Squash Doubles League. Also a big shout out to additional event hosts Badminton & Racquet Club, Toronto Lawn & Tennis Club, and the Royal Canadian Yacht Club for offering up their courts.

This event has been running since 1965 and has a special place in the hearts of many as true veterans of the game have the chance to compete without the up and coming young guns featured in other doubles events. We are please to announce this event got OLDER with the first 80+ champion crowned as well as YOUNGER with the addition of the 35+ division.
