This past Wednesday, we hosted our premier fundraising event - The Lucky Number 21 Charity Golf Classic Presented by Dowling I.D.A. at Pheasant Run Golf Club. The event was a huge success courtesy our wonderful golfers, donors and sponsors. Fortunately, the rain stopped just in time for the shotgun start and golfers were treated to a sunny round - our fastest round ever! The Charity Golf Classic was able to raise just under $9,000 to support the late Mark Sachvie’s mission to support junior development and grow the game. We are almost half way to our $20,000 goal, so please support our online silent auction before the July 3rd deadline or consider a personal donation to get us across the finish line!
This event would not be possible with out the support we received from our presenting sponsor Dowling I.D.A., Tim McCue (father of national team member Mike McCue), who has supported this event every single year, without fail. This kind of support keeps this event going year after year, and since it's inception, we've raised well over $100,000 to support junior squash. A big thank you to all those who donated prizing and sponsored holes (listed below) for partnering up with Squash Ontario and supporting this event.
