Welcoming in the 2025-2027 Squash Ontario Board of Directors

Squash Ontario is pleased to introduce the individuals who will be representing the squash community as the Squash Ontario Board of Directors over the next year. This group of dedicated volunteers bring a diverse set of squash and professional experience to the Board and is a great fit to lead the organization and staff team in executing the 2023-2027 Squash For All Strategic Plan.

Please join us in welcoming Vinit Kudva into the new role of President, with Dan Van Moorsel moving into the Past President role with the completion of his term in November 2026. Vinit has served on the Board for five years now and will be a great asset to lead the group.

With Dan Van Moorsel’s term now complete, he hasn’t drifted too far as he has agreed to stay on and serve as Past President for the year. This decision comes after a great deal of momentum has been created in government relations and making sure that squash is in the conversation at every government funding table.

We also welcome Chris Willard to the Board for his first term and taking the position as Fundraising Chair. Chris brings extensive leadership experience in finance, philanthropy, and community development to Squash Ontario. With a career including roles in the financial sector and in the non-profit sector, including as Executive Director of the Guelph Community Foundation, Chris has a strong track record of strategic growth, fundraising success, and community engagement. A passionate advocate for sport as a tool for inclusion and youth development, Chris is proud to support Squash Ontario’s mission to grow the game and strengthen communities across the province. A member at the Kitchener-Waterloo Racquet Club actively playing on their Division 3 Team, on the club ladder, and he actively works with their “drills group”.

Chris, Dan and Vinit are joined by other Board Members Heather Dart, Leah Desbarres, Naveed Irshad, Natasha Seth, and Simon Chun.
