2026 Jim Mason High School Teams Tournament

Squash Ontario is excited to share the below information about the 2026 Jim Mason High School Teams Tournament. Please read carefully as there is a lot of information to share.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Event Date: Thursday April 9 & Friday April 10

Location: The Club at White Oaks (Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON)

Divisions:

  • Division 1: 7 players, minimum 2 females, any number of Ontario ranked players allowed

  • Division 2: 7 players, minimum 2 females and maximum of 2 Ontario ranked players allowed

  • Emerging Teams: team of 5 players (can be mixed gender) and no Ontario ranked players

Hotel Link: CLICK HERE – Hotel is located inside the same building as the squash courts.

Player Entry Cost: $45 + HST.  Entry includes a guaranteed three matches, tournament souvenir and Thursday lunch. Teams must submit one payment for all players on the team.

Final Deadline to Submit Rosters – March 30, 2026


 SUBSIDY & CANSQUASH GRANT PROGRAM

There will be two subsidy options for your teams:

  1. A travel subsidy for teams that are located at least 50km away from the squash venue. Limited to one per team. A total pot of $1000 will be divided by the number of teams seeking this Travel Subsidy.

Or,

  1. Participation in the CANSquash Pilot Program with a $650 team honorarium to cover court rental fees and coaching fees. CANSquash shirts will be provided. This is open to the first 10 teams that apply. The following conditions must be satisfied:

    1. Must operate a 4-8-week squash program leading up to the 2026 Jim Mason High School Teams Tournament event. Program can take place anytime between January 2026-April 9 2026.

    2. Must have an NCCP Certified Squash Instructor associated with your program (preferably as Head Coach)

    3. Must use the CANSquash curriculum located in the PlayBuilder app to develop lesson plans and track athlete progress. More to come about this. 

    4. All volunteers/coaches must have completed the CAC Safe Sport Module

 THURSDAY (APRIL 9) TEAM DINNER & ACTIVITIES

Sport Niagara in partnership with Squash ON is pleased to invite you to the Kingpin Team Outing.  

Date:            Thursday, April 9th, 2026
Time:            7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location:     Kingpin St. Catharines
                      @ The Pen Centre | 221 Glendale Avenue, St. Catharines, ON, L2T 2K9
                      (less than a 10 minute drive from the CLUB at White Oaks)

$70.00 per player | all inclusive pricing, exclusive for Squash ON participants

Price includes:

  • One Hour of Bowling with shoe rental

  • One Hour of Mini Golf with auto tech scoring 

  • Pizza Planks

  • Unlimited Soft Drinks

  • $5 Gameworx Arcade Card
