Team Mixed and Team Toronto Take the 2026 Ontario Regional Masters Teams Championships Titles

A division Champions - Team Mixed (Rob Cunningham, Stephen Ianuzzi, Dan Van Moosel, Jonathan Reed, Leah Desbarres, Sam Epstein, Meg Johnston)

With 85 participants, the 2026 Ontario Regional Masters Team Championships, hosted at The Club at White Oaks and led by Tournament Chair Matt Easingwood, brought together teams from across the province for a full weekend of competition.

Thank you to all Team Captains for coordinating and organizing teams within their regions, and to the volunteers who supported operations throughout the weekend. Appreciation as well to Leah Desbarres in her role as Captains Liaison, assisting with roster adjustments and ensuring teams were prepared to compete.

A Division

All four A division teams played a four team Round Robin over Friday & Saturday, followed by a 1 vs. 2 and 3 vs. 4 crossover on Sunday. The A Division final saw Team Mixed (Captain Leah Desbarres) edge out Team Niagara (Captain Tom Powers) 4–3 in a close matchup for the the championship title with Team Western (Captain Leah Desbarres) securing third place with a 6–1 win over Team Toronto (Captain Patrick Hartunian).

B/C Division

The B/C Division featured eight teams and a full slate of matches across the weekend with two four-team Round Robins and a final crossover. Toronto Masters of Disaster (Captain Randhir Multani) claimed the division title, followed by Niagara 1 (Captain Matt Easingwood) in second place, and Western 2 (Captain Leah Desbarres) earning third over Team Western 3 (Captain Leah Desbarres).
