Div 1/2 Winners - Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute
Last week, Ontario high school squash was on full display at the 2026 Jim Mason Cup, held April 9–10 at The Club at White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Sanctioned by OFSAA through the TDSSAA, this two-day event brought together student-athletes from across the province to compete in a spirited team tournament.
The Jim Mason Cup continues to provide high school players of all levels with the opportunity to represent their schools and compete in a fun and inclusive environment. With 161 students participating, 7 Division 1/2 teams, and 18 emerging teams, the energy on and off court was electric from the first serve to the final point..
And the Results Are In!
Division 1 / 2:
1st Place – Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute - Team 1
2nd Place – Northern Secondary School
3rd Place – Louis-Riel Secondary School
Emerging Division:
1st Place – Saint Francis
2nd Place – Sir Winston Churchill - Team 1
3rd Place – St. Patrick’s - Team 1
This year Lawrence Park Collegiate took first place back from Northern in an exciting finals while, Louis-Riel took 3rd place away from CW Jeffery’s by one match. Great work from all teams in Div 1/2. Four Toronto teams and one Ottawa team made the effort to come out to Niagara in this division.
Emerging - big mover this year was Saint Francis coming in almost last place last year, this year they jumped all the way to the top. Congratulations on your first place win! We had three new teams from Unionville in Toronto come out, and three teams from Sarnia. Thanks for making the effort traveling teams, and all teams for showing up and competing.
