This past weekend, the 2025 Women’s Veterans Doubles Championships, Presented by Hennessy & Hinchcliffe, brought an incredible display of skill, sportsmanship, and love of the sport to Mayfair Lakeshore in Toronto. With players competing across multiple divisions—including Women’s 30+ A, B, and C, as well as 60+ and 65+—the event highlighted the strength and depth of women’s doubles squash in Ontario.

Under the Hennessy & Hinchcliffe and Slaight Music banner, a successful Ontario Women’s Veterans Doubles Championship took place at the Mayfair Lakeshore under the guidance of Tournament Organizer Lolly Gillen, with help from Diane Naughton. The wine and cheese was flowing all weekend in the court lounge thanks to Mayfair staff and Leslie Freeman and Cathy Tuckwell played dual Tournament Referee and Competitor roles.
