Former World Champion Momen Tops Season-Opening Windsor Cup
Former World Champion Tarek Momen will top the draw for the upcoming Windsor Cup, which will kick off the 2023-24 PSA World Tour season between August 15-19, with 24 players aiming to start the season strongly at the Bronze-level event in Canada. The inaugural Windsor Cup will take place on a spectacular all-glass court inside the Devonshire Mall (Windsor, ON).
Wheelchair Squash 57 Open House
All are welcome to come out and try Wheelchair Squash57 at the upcoming Open House event being held at the Toronto Cricket, Curling and Skating Club on October 28th. Wheelchair Squash57 has modified the rules to make it ideal for anyone with mobility issues, or those who now find squash difficult on their bodies and would like to try playing in a sport wheelchair.
Squash Canada’s Playground to Podium Campaign
Squash Canada is excited to announce our Playground to Podium Campaign. The Campaign will outfit new players in a grassroots or beginner program with a “Squash Starter Kit”, full of everything they need to get started: racquet, balls, goggles, and backpack. By providing the necessary equipment to new players in these programs, this Campaign will help address participation barriers and foster the growth and sustainability of squash in Canada.
Follow Team Canada at the World Junior Championships
The 2023 WSF World Junior Championships are currently underway in Melbourne, Australia. The event will be held from July 18th to 29th and will consist of Men’s and Women’s Individual competition, as well as the World Junior Women’s Team Championships.
The tournament has kicked things off with the individual draws and results can be found below. With 128 player monrad style draws, Team Canada athletes have already played multiple matches after the first three days.

This past Wednesday, we hosted our premier fundraising event - The Lucky Number 21 Charity Golf Classic Presented by Dowling I.D.A. at Pheasant Run Golf Club. The event was a huge success courtesy our wonderful golfers, donors and sponsors. Fortunately, the rain stopped just in time for the shotgun start and golfers were treated to a sunny round - our fastest round ever!
