2018 Ontario Winter Games

Every other year the Ontario Winter Games come around and every region in Ontario gets the chance to send their top juniors to experience the fun and exciting multi-sport games atmosphere. This year the Ontario Winter Games were hosted by the City of Orillia and the Barrie Athletic Club took on the job of hosting the squash component. Eight athletes from each region competed in the three day event, kicked off by a Thursday evening Opening Ceremonies. 

Congratulations to the following winning teams: 

FIRST PLACE - TEAM WESTERN ONTARIO (3/4 SEED)

George Crowne, Maaz Mufti, Musab Mufti, Daniel Deverill, Salma Mounir, Aleeza Khan, Amal Nadeem Izhar and Shirin Batra with coaches Joanna Phang and Jamie Hickox. 

SECOND PLACE - TEAM GREATER TORONTO WEST (2 SEED)

Will Kuhn, Ali Shalaby, Syan Singh, Carl-Edmund Roux, Sydney Maxwell, Ariel McCuaig, Jena Ravindran and Gabriella Waite with coach Robin Clarke. 

THIRD PLACE - TEAM GREATER TORONTO EAST (1 SEED)

James Flynn, Nikhil Ismail, Alex Yuzpe, Ewan Harris, Erica McGillucuddy, Molly Chadwick, Ceinwyn Beattie and Ashley Hall with coach Scott Arnold.
