Mini Court Summer Tour Wrap-Up: Over 20,000 People Reached Across Ontario!

What a summer it’s been for squash in Ontario!

The 2025 Road to the Olympics Mini Court Summer Tour has officially wrapped up—and we’re thrilled to announce that over 20,000 people were introduced or exposed to the sport of squash through this exciting initiative!

From city centres to sport festivals, our Dunlop Mini Court traveled to multiple locations and events across the province. While a few events faced unavoidable cancellations or last-minute hiccups (Mother Nature, we’re looking at you!), the tour as a whole was a huge success—thanks to the energy, passion, and teamwork from our amazing squash community.

We want to extend a massive thank you to every person and club who helped bring squash to life this summer. An extra special shout-out goes to our incredible volunteers, who not only helped with setup and programming but also took the time to share stories, engage with participants, and promote their local squash clubs to the public.

We’d also like to recognize the efforts of our summer student, Liam McKay, who played a key role in coordinating the on-site logistics for each stop. From helping transport and assemble the court to supporting our team on the ground, Liam was an important part of the summer crew and brought great energy everywhere he went.

Of course, this tour wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. A huge thank you to Dunlop Sports—as the Official Ball of Squash Ontario and Squash Canada, Dunlop has been a household name in the squash community for decades. Their support has been instrumental in helping us bring this initiative to life.

We'd also like to thank Jordan Elliott and Lynne Griffin who made a sizeable donation this spring to specifically support this court. With their donation, they became the largest individual supporters of squash growth for the year. We can't thank them enough for kicking this program off!

Want to be part of next year’s tour?

We’re already starting to plan for 2026! If you’re a club, organization, or event organizer interested in hosting the Mini Court, send your details and proposal to tracy@squashontario.com—we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you, Ontario, for helping us grow the game as we continue down the road to the LA 2028 Olympic Games. See you next summer, even bigger and better!
