Squash Ontario Dunlop Mini Court Summer Tour 2026

Location: Various cities across Ontario
Duration: Approximately June 15 – August 15, 2026

Employment Type: Contract, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

This summer, Squash Ontario is once again hitting the road with our Dunlop Mini Court Summer Tour 2026, bringing squash directly into communities across Ontario and creating fun, accessible opportunities for people to try the sport.

Position Overview

We are hiring two Program Coordinators to lead and support the 2026 Dunlop Mini Court Summer Tour. This is a hands-on, mobile role ideal for individuals who are passionate about squash, enjoy community engagement, and thrive in event-based environments. Events come first in this role — most weekends will be spent on-site at activations across the province. Flexibility is essential.

While events are the priority, this is a full-time (40 hours/week) position. When not on-site, program coordinators will complete Squash Ontario project work and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport (with trailer), set up, and dismantle the Squash Ontario Dunlop Mini Court and related equipment at event locations across Ontario.

  • Drive a vehicle towing a trailer — previous trailer driving experience is required.

  • Engage event attendees and provide introductory experiences to the sport of squash.

  • Partner with local Squash Ontario member clubs to support community activations and promote local programming.

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during setup, teardown, and activations.

  • Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and equipment assembly.

  • Serve as professional, energetic ambassadors for Squash Ontario.

  • Capture event content (photos, videos, highlights) to support marketing and social media efforts.

  • Complete administrative tasks including reporting, inventory tracking, and ongoing Squash Ontario project work between events.

Reports to: Manager of Membership & Operations

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate:

  • Is passionate about squash — previous squash experience is required.

  • Is a current student (high school, post-secondary undergraduate or graduate program) and must be 18 years of age or older at the time of employment.

  • Has experience driving with a trailer (required).

  • Holds a valid G Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract (required).

  • Located in the Greater Toronto Area (required).

  • Is comfortable with heavy lifting and hands-on equipment setup.

  • Is flexible and available to work most weekends and evenings throughout the contract period.

  • Can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Is organized, responsible, and comfortable managing long event days.

A Police Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hire.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in event management, sports marketing, or community outreach.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse age groups.

  • Experience with social media content creation.

  • First Aid/CPR certification.

Important Role Details

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.

  • Days off will be scheduled during the week when weekend events occur.

  • This role includes long, active days and significant travel.

  • Mileage and approved travel expenses will be covered.
