From Champion to Coach: Sean Oh Named High-Performance Coach at Burlington Hall Sporting Club

Squash Ontario is proud to celebrate an exciting milestone for one of our own, as Sean Oh steps into a new role supporting the next generation of athletes. Burlington Hall Sporting Club has officially appointed Sean as their new High-Performance Squash Coach, beginning May 2, 2026.

A familiar name across the provincial and national squash community, Sean has long been recognized not only for his competitive success, but for his commitment to the sport. Representing Team Ontario, he played a key role in securing gold at the 2024 Canadian Masters Teams Championship, while also earning multiple Ontario Open and Masters titles. His achievements extend internationally, with gold medal performances at the Pan American Masters Games, U.S. Masters, and Canadian Masters Championships.

Now, Sean is bringing that experience and passion into a high-performance coaching role—one that will directly impact the development of Ontario’s future squash stars.

At Burlington Hall Sporting Club, Sean will focus on building a strong, supportive environment for junior athletes to grow and succeed. His work will include expanding the junior player base in the Burlington and Halton region, introducing new participants to the sport, and encouraging increased participation in Squash Ontario-sanctioned events. Sean will be running High Performance programming on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Sean’s transition from athlete to coach is a powerful example of how Ontario’s top competitors continue to give back to the sport, helping shape the next generation both on and off the court.

Squash Ontario congratulates Sean on his new role and looks forward to seeing the impact he will make in Burlington and beyond.
