Every year in October, squash communities around the world come together to celebrate the sport we love and help grow the game at the grassroots level. World Squash Day is a chance to introduce new players to squash, welcome back past participants, and give current players another reason to get on court and celebrate everything that makes squash such a great sport.
This year, World Squash Day takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and we want clubs across Ontario to join in!
World Squash Day is a great opportunity for clubs to open their doors to the wider community and create fun, welcoming opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels to try squash. Whether it’s an open house, beginner session, social event, junior activity, round-robin, or simply inviting a friend to the club, there are lots of ways to get involved.
And of course, World Squash Day isn’t just about introducing new people to the sport. It’s also a chance to celebrate the incredible squash community we already have across Ontario — the players, coaches, volunteers, clubs and supporters who continue to grow and strengthen the sport.

Whether you're hosting an event or simply getting your members together for some squash, we want to see it!
Let’s make October 10 a day to celebrate squash, introduce someone new to the game, and show what makes our squash community so great.
