The Government of Ontario has released a new Concussion Management Tracking Tool to help athletes, parents/guardians, schools, and sport organizations stay informed about an athlete’s concussion recovery and return-to-sport progress.
The tool can be shared voluntarily in either digital or printed format and is designed to support communication as an athlete moves through the return-to-school and return-to-sport stages following a concussion.
Based on Parachute Canada’s Canadian Guidelines for Concussion in Sport (2nd Edition), the tracking tool aligns with Ontario’s existing concussion resources under Rowan’s Law and helps ensure everyone involved in an athlete’s care is aware of their current concussion management status.
Squash Ontario encourages clubs, coaches, athletes, and families to become familiar with this new resource and use it to support safe concussion management across our sport community.
