The Ontario Closed Championships is one of Squash Ontario’s largest provincial championship events of the year and this weekend was no different. Congratulations to all champions, finalists, and third place finishers for their hard fought matches this weekend!

The Queen’s Athletic Recreation Center and the Kingston-Garrison Squash Club were filled with energy as 22 university teams from across Ontario and Quebec competed in the first crossover event of the 2018 – 2019 Jesters University League season. The event is the first of the season for teams to see how they stack up against others outside of their own geographic divisions.

Eight of the top junior programs descended on Mayfair Lakeshore last weekend to see who is the club to beat in the inaugural Roundtable Capital Cup U15 Team Club Champs.  The event was the brainchild of long time Squash Ontario supporter Peter McCarthy and his team at Roundtable Capital in order to build teamwork and camaraderie in a fun intercollegiate style format. 

Squash Ontario is pleased to announce a new Gold Corporate Partnership with the prestigious The Hazelton Hotel of Toronto that will include a generous contribution towards supporting Junior Squash in the province.

The Ontario Masters Championships kicked off a championship event lineup for the 2018/19 squash season over the weekend at Mayfair Parkway. Brand new Ontario Tournament Organizer Cole Osborne (Mayfair Parkway Head Squash Professional) welcomed over 100 masters athletes with thanks to tournament sponsors Bruce Marrison with Performance Finishing Solutions and Scott Benson.

Fans of university squash can rejoice as the season is officially underway!

We were proud to welcome the world to the Toronto Athletic Club at the beginning of October, as we hosted the World Deaf Squash Championships. Hosted every 2 years, this year’s event was the 9th World Championship, and it marked the first time the Championships were hosted in Canada.

The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Governors are pleased to announce that the 2019 Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 4th at the Granite Club, 2350 Bayview Avenue, Toronto.

Our province has one of the BEST Masters communities in the world and we need to show it! For those that have been procrastinating, sitting on the fence or waiting for that niggly injury to heal, this is a sign that you need to sign up for this event as the deadline has been extended to Sunday October 21st at 11:59pm!
