The 2019 Pivotal Capital Ontario Masters Championships kicked off a championship event lineup for the 2019/20 squash season over the weekend at Mayfair Parkway. Tournament Organizer Cole Osborne (Mayfair Parkway Head Squash Professional) welcomed 100 masters athletes from across the province where 12 masters divisions were played and masters were treated to exhibition matches from top Canadian athletes Mike McCue and Nick Sachvie, top University league player Liam Marrison, and top junior athlete Nikhil Ismail.

Squash Ontario is thrilled to announce our newest Gold Corporate Partner and the Official Imaging Clinic of the Association. The Toronto Centre for Medical Imaging (TCFMI), located in the heart of Toronto's financial district, is a state-of-the-art clinic providing X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density Testing and Echocardiography and will become a valuable resource to the squash community.

Squash Ontario is partnering with OFSAA to make the 2020 Jim Mason Cup, the annual high school invitational, an officially sanctioned event. OFSAA currently oversees more than 650,000 high school student athletes competing across 41 sports. We are aiming to have squash achieve full OFSAA status by 2022, which will change the landscape of our sport.

Please join us in welcoming two new staff to the Squash Ontario team this season Alison Le Ber and Waseem Mansoor. With increased squash activity and new leagues, initiatives, programs, and more, Alison and Waseem will be key Squash Ontario players this squash season!

Ontario has been a breeding ground for world class doubles squash players and title sponsors Slaight Music and Roundtable Capital aim to take the competition level up a notch with the inauguration of the Xtreme Squash Doubles League (XSDL).

The Robert Brooks Scholarship Fund Board of Governors are pleased to announce the 2019 recipients of it's annual bursary to support students who have excelled in both academics and squash. This year's two incredible students receiving bursaries are Marlow Benson and Neel Ismail. 

Squash Ontario is thrilled to announce Slaight Music as the 2019 Corporate Achievement Award Recipient for their continued outstanding contributions to our sport. For the last decade, Slaight Music has been one of the great patrons of squash, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars to support events at the provincial, national and international level as well to junior development, grassroots programming and also lending valuable expertise in communications, marketing and fundraising.
