The 2019 Toronto Centre for Medical Imaging Ontario Closed Championships is one of Squash Ontario’s largest events of the year and this past weekend was no different, with record attendance thanks to the largest women’s division numbers we’ve ever seen! Mayfair Lakeshore welcomed over 150 participants throughout the weekend highlighted by the top athletes in the country battling for $5,000 in prize money.

With extensive experience in assessing, treating, and training young, high performance athletes, Endeavour’s goal was to get an overall snapshot of the injury and movement problems of Squash Ontario’s elite junior players. Over the course of 4 events this year, we assessed 92 players (43 boys and 49 girls) using our one-of-a-kind screening protocol.

2019 Pivotal Capital Ontario Masters Championships
The 2019 Pivotal Capital Ontario Masters Championships kicked off a championship event lineup for the 2019/20 squash season over the weekend at Mayfair Parkway. Tournament Organizer Cole Osborne (Mayfair Parkway Head Squash Professional) welcomed 100 masters athletes from across the province where 12 masters divisions were played and masters were treated to exhibition matches from top Canadian athletes Mike McCue and Nick Sachvie, top University league player Liam Marrison, and top junior athlete Nikhil Ismail.
Squash Ontario Welcomes Toronto Center for Medical Imaging as Gold Corporate Partner
Squash Ontario is thrilled to announce our newest Gold Corporate Partner and the Official Imaging Clinic of the Association. The Toronto Centre for Medical Imaging (TCFMI), located in the heart of Toronto's financial district, is a state-of-the-art clinic providing X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density Testing and Echocardiography and will become a valuable resource to the squash community.
Squash Ontario Launches Operation OFSAA and Student Squash Leadership Bursaries
Squash Ontario is partnering with OFSAA to make the 2020 Jim Mason Cup, the annual high school invitational, an officially sanctioned event. OFSAA currently oversees more than 650,000 high school student athletes competing across 41 sports. We are aiming to have squash achieve full OFSAA status by 2022, which will change the landscape of our sport.
