Originally announced in late 2023, Squash Canada will be implementing mandatory Provincial Coach Certification requirement for coaches who wish to enter the Field of Play at national events. These certification requirements are scheduled to be enforced by January 2026.

Held in conjunction with the Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital 2025 Canadian Senior Championships, the tournament took place at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club, a venue with deep roots in adaptive sport. Home to one of Canada’s first wheelchair squash programs.

The Squash Ontario community is invited to try a 6-week Sports Nutrition Culinary Beta Program to fuel your athletic lifestyle with simple, practical (and delicious!) meals with Culinary Nutritionist Kenzie Osborne. Program runs June 10-July 22 and you can pick your own price!

The Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club served as the premier stage for Canadian squash, hosting the Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital 2025 Canadian Senior Championships, May 8 – 11. More than 330 athletes aged 12 – 80 years athletes competed across 23 divisions in four days of high-level play and outstanding camaraderie and hospitality off the court.

Squash Ontario is pleased to officially introduce William Kuhn as our Competitions Coordinator for the 2025-2026 squash season. William joined the Squash Ontario team in March and will be supporting the organization while the current Director of Athlete Development, Lauren Sachvie, is on maternity leave.  William has previously worked with Squash Ontario as a summer student and has in depth knowledge of the community and programs.

From May through August, Squash Ontario members who request a home and auto insurance quote from NFP and CC us on the email will automatically be entered into a gift card draw (valued at approximately $100). We’ve got two gift cards to give away — one draw will take place at the end of June, and another at the end of August.

Congratulations are in order for the outstanding Ontario athlete performances that took place at the CC&L Private Capital 2025 Canadian Squash Championships over May 1-4 at the Toronto Cricket Club. The event featured all Junior divisions alongside the Men’s & Women’s Open divisions and welcomed 309 athletes competing across four days
