It is with great excitement that, in partnership with Squash Ontario, ParaSport Ontario, Brock Niagara Penguins, Sport Niagara and White Oakes, Ridley College announces its first annual Adaptive Sport Try-it Day at the Evan’s Athletic Centre at Ridley College Saturday, November 15th, 2025.
From 1:00pm to 4:00pm people of all abilities, especially those interested in trying adaptive sport, are invited to come learn about and try the dynamic games of wheelchair squash, para (sledge) hockey, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair table tennis, wheelchair bocce, goalball and seated volleyball.
The schedule for the day includes:
Ridley Griffith Gym A
1:00pm to 2:30pm Wheelchair Basketball
2:30pm to 4:00pm Wheelchair Bocce and Wheelchair Table Tennis
Ridley Griffith Gym B
1:00pm to 2:30pm Seated Volleyball
2:30pm to 4:00pm Goalball
Ridley Aylott Squash Centre
2:30pm to 3:30pm Wheelchair Squash
Ridley Tiger Arena
2:30pm to 4:00pm Para (Sledge) Hockey
The Niagara Community is also welcome to enjoy two other significant sport fixtures on the Ridley campus on Saturday November 15th which include:
11:00am – 1:00pm Ridley Prep Girls Hockey vs. North York Storm (U22 OWHA Elite League)
12:00pm – 2:00pm Inaugural Christopher Stevens College Squash Classic
