February 3-5, 2017, saw the city of Toronto being taken over by doubles players as the Men's and Women's Veterans Championships took place at the Toronto Racquet Club and the Badminton and Racquet Club for the men's draws and Mayfair Lakeshore for the women's. This year 32 teams of men and 14 teams of women played for the Veterans titles.

2017 Jesters Junior Squash Excellence Bursary
The Jesters of Ontario continue to be a driving force for junior squash in our province and are pleased to launch a special bursary in 2017 geared towards the pursuit of excellence for Ontario junior athletes. The bursary is designed to reward juniors that have put in extra-ordinary effort in the first half of the 2016-17 season and provide them with additional resources in early 2017 to help them pursue excellence at the 2017 Canadian Junior Squash Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia.

2017 Quest for Gold Nominees Announced
Squash Ontario is pleased to announce a draft list of athletes and alternates who have been nominated for Ontario Cards under the 2016-2017 Quest for Gold - Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP). The athletes nominated were selected using the sport specific selection criteria developed by Squash Ontario, approved by its Board of Directors and applied by (the) Selection Committee.
Western and McMaster Win Jesters University League West Sectional #2
McMaster University hosted the second and final western sectional tournament of the year, which will lead into the Jesters University League Final in February. The men's teams consisted of Western, McMaster, Guelph, Waterloo, Laurier and Ryerson while the women's teams included McMaster, Waterloo, Western and the debuting teams of Laurier and Guelph!
