Western Goes Undefeated, Winning the Jesters League and OUA Championships

To close out the university squash season, eight participating schools traveled to White Oaks for the OUA Championships from February 6-8. With an energetic crowd behind them, the Western Mustangs men’s and women’s teams captured OUA gold, asserting their dominance on the court. Continuing from last year, Western Women defended their OUA title with a decisive 6-1 victory over Queen’s in the final. In the 3rd place playoff, The University of Toronto claimed bronze with a 5-2 win over Waterloo.

The 2026 Ontario Junior Doubles Squash Championships wrapped up another fantastic edition this past weekend, welcoming all junior athletes to The Granite Club in Toronto for a weekend filled with competitive, fast-paced, and fun doubles squash. The energy in the club—from players, families, coaches, and supporters—created an unforgettable atmosphere and made the event a resounding success once again.

This past weekend, Squash Ontario proudly hosted a high-energy Provincial Doubles Championship weekend at Mayfair Parkway, bringing together athletes from across the province for two premier events: the 2026 CM Concrete Ontario Mixed Doubles Championships and the 2026 CM Concrete Ontario Doubles Championships, both presented by YouFirst Financial.
