We are pleased to welcome the Master Fitness and Squash Complex as a member facility with Squash Ontario! Locally owned and operated, the club has two squash courts but looking to expand and add more thanks to it's vibrant and active group of squash players. 

Earlier this squash season, in August, the squash community had an enormous wake up call at the Barrie Athletic Club when Steve Rush, an avid squash player and coach, suffered a cardiac arrest on court. Thanks to an AED machine and a few knowledgeable tournament participants and staff, Steve is still with us today. This is his story. 

Last weekend, 60 juniors, 10 coaches and 30 parents boarded the US Open bus to New Haven, Connecticut, in one of the most ambitious trips in SO history.  With the launch of our newly revamped high performance program, our goal was to give our top juniors exposure to critical international competition and gauge our level for an assault on the podium in the coming years.

As the holidays and close of 2017 draw near, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the number of amazing matches and tournaments this year has seen. Congratulations to all those who worked hard to earn a provincial title, those who played in almost every tournament, those who stepped into tournaments for the first time, and those who encouraged their friends and family to pick up a racquet and join them in squash.

• Molly Chadwick (GU15) - Finalist
• George Crowne (BU17) - Finalist
• James Flynn (BU19) - 3rd Place

On the weekend of November 24th 2017, 145 athletes from across Ontario gathered at Executive Squash and Fitness Club for the 2017 BMO Nesbitt Burns Ontario Junior Closed. Congratulations to the following 2017 Provincial Champions, Finalists, and 3rd place winners, with thanks to Keira Lee Rawlins for the personal note below. 

We thank all participants in this past weekend's 2017 Slaight Music/Ridley Windows and Doors Ontario Doubles Championships.  The energy buzzing around Championship Sunday at the Cricket embodied that friendly competition and great camaraderie experienced all weekend.

The Fall Provincial Championships season swings into high gear as 16 new Ontario Champions will be crowned on what is a busy weekend on the courts.  The BMO Nesbitt Burns Ontario Junior Closed kicks off this afternoon in Vaughan at Executive Squash and Fitness with 150 of our finest looking to peak at this critical time of the season...
